About this piece
Moroccan tea is poured from height so it aerates on the way down, and the pour is the part everybody watches. Here it does not stop at the glass. The stream leaves the pot, keeps falling, and by the bottom of the frame it is the Ourika running between red banks with the terraces and flat-roofed houses along it. Both halves are true: the valley is where the mint comes from.

Composed here, from a brief we wrote, in the manner of mid-century photomontage. Nothing in it is taken from anybody else’s collage — which is why we can sell it to you, and why it can be recoloured to your room without asking anyone’s permission.
